Hi! My name is Benjamin Powell, and I’m an industrial designer who recently graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design. Having lived overseas my entire life, I bring a global perspective shaped by diverse cultures and environments into my design thinking.

I approach industrial design as a human-centred, problem-solving discipline focused on creating purposeful products that respond to real-world needs. I’m an efficient and adaptable designer, comfortable managing multiple projects with evolving priorities while staying organized and delivering high-quality work within fast-paced timelines. I bring resilience, initiative, and a commitment to seeing ideas through each stage of iteration. I enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, valuing clear communication, active listening, and shared problem-solving.

Outside of design, I enjoy travelling, playing football, running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
